Equal Opportunity & Diversity
We do not think of equal opportunity and diversity in terms of a policy or a legal obligation, but rather as an opportunity to find talented individuals that will help our company grow. We live in a diverse society and we like to think we reflect that diversity at all levels of our organization. We do not discriminate against employees or applicants for employment on any legally-recognized basis.
We are passionate about innovating and delivering software that solves problems. Are you? The Software Product Manager plays an integral role in the future strategic planning and development of our software solutions.
The Software Product Manager defines the vision and objectives of the assigned product or product area represented via a product roadmap which depicts the functionality and benefits expected over both the near-term and long-term. The Product Manager must work closely with the Stakeholders, the Customer Team, and the project team (Project Manager, Product Owner, Dev, and QA) in defining, refining, and ratifying the roadmap on a repeating basis.
The Product Manager is also responsible for defining and executing against a Go-To-Market strategy which determines how product success is defined and how it will be achieved. The Product Manager must work closely with the leadership team of a project to identify resource needs, risks, and dependencies toward defining and tracking against a project plan. The Product Manager will continuously monitor progress and adherence against the strategic vision of the product.
The Software Product Owner (PO) works closely with the Product Manager and the project team in defining a release plan and execution against the release plan. The PO, for a given release and feature set, must define the use cases and requirements factoring in the strategic vision of the given product. The PO will also review and potentially contribute to UI designs with the objective of ensuring designs meet functional intent. The PO ensures buy-in from all constituents for the proposed functional scope of a release where such constituents include internal stakeholders, funding customer stakeholders, development, and QA.
The Product Owner must continuously review and maintain an organized, prioritized backlog comprised of new functionality, enhancements (CRs), bugs, and technical/sustainability items. The PO also contributes to the Go-To-Market strategy by facilitating release documentation & training, monitoring success metrics, and coordinating release activities.
